Miss International

Miss International is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious beauty pageants, held since 1960 in Japan. Its core concept began with “Cheer All Women” and later emphasized “Beauty with a Purpose” — beauty with meaning. At its heart are international friendship, cross-cultural understanding, and the promotion of peace.

Former Finnish representatives:


  • 2020 – Anna Merimaa: Crowned Miss International Finland 2020, but the global final was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • 2021 – No representative: The competition was not held because of the pandemic.


  • 2022 – Anna Merimaa: Represented Finland at Miss International 2022 in Tokyo, placed among the Top 15 semifinalists and won the title of Best European Delegate.


  • 2023 – Petra Hämäläinen: Represented Finland at Miss International 2023 in Japan.


  • 2024 – Tiia Aalto: Represented Finland at Miss International 2024 in Tokyo.


  • 2025 – Vera Eloranta: Will represent Finland at Miss International 2025 in Tokyo.
